Yes, an odd combo. That has been my weekend so far, and it's only Sunday afternoon.
Have four Dr. Who episdoes and one movie under my belt so far. That sounds like I've done nothing but sit an my ass in front of the Tv, but I have done other stuff....I cleaned the aprtment, cleaned the fridge out, went grocery shopping, shaved my legs and even trimmed my bangs! I shoud be exhausted! LOL!
Anyways, here's the run down of the title events.

Last of The Time Lords
I had been told to watch for The Master's dance, but sadly SciFi did cut it, so no dance =(
Doctor!in a cage - that's just mean to put Doctor in cage (unless it's a cage I am putting him in, but we'd enjoy it!). Not sure how I feel about
The Doctor being turned into a tiny little thing like that. Kinda weird.
Very sad episode, really. Doctor lost everyone he cared about; The Master, Martha and Jack. He really loved the Master, and the thought of Ten "keeping" Master on the Tardis was squee inducing, casue The Master is so cute - for a crazy guy that is.
The Taclafane remind me of a book I read a long time ago. I don't recall the name of the book or who wrote it, but it was about our first contact with aliens, and how they had been abducting people for years, and we came to find out that the aliens were really us from the future, and the reason they looked like they did, was becasue the gene pool was diminishing, and that's why they were abducting people and experiementing on people and impregnating them. To try to restore "us" to how we used to be. It was really a very good, thought provovking book.
Fear Her
I didn't like this ep to start with and couldn't stand Chloe at all, but then as it progressed and I find out more about what was going, I really liked this one after all.
Ten's hands!! Lots of Ten's hands here. He has very pretty hands. Very long and petite. I love to watch him use his hands. Hand!porn!!
I liked when he laid his hands (again with the hands!) on Chloe's head and put her into a trance. I can't put into words why, I just found this very.....I don't know, just very something.
Army Of Ghosts & Doomsday
I think these two eps are the best I have scen so far. I really, really liked them.
Doctor/Jackie kiss!!
The first thing one really notices about Yvonne is her boobs. Hello boobs!
HA!!!! Derek Acorah! "No one will need me anymore." That's right you fraud!
Weird to see Freema in this as another character after I've been seeing her Martha already.
"Who ya gonna call?....I ain't 'fraid of no ghosts!" <-------- BEST SCENE EVER!!!!!
Lots of wonderful, squee inducing Ten close-ups. I had to pause many times just to bask in his beauty. I just want to kiss if face all over It looks so soft and kissable. This observation has nothing to do with the plot. Ten's cute factor ratcheted up several notches in these two eps.
"No you say, let's make it bigger"" <---------- One of many great Ten lines.
Mickey Smith - Defender of The Earth!! I love how much Mickey has grown up in the course of this show.
3D!Glasses!!
Who knew Daleks had a sense of humor? "This is not war, it's pest control" and "Social interaction will cease."

Awww!! Jackie & Pete together again!
Go Cyber!Yvonne!!!!
"Exterminate! Delete!" Shut up already you stupid automated wheely-bins!
The end of Doomsday killed me dead, it really did. I totally cried with the sadness.
"I'm burning up a sun just to say goodbye" GUH!!! *is dead from the Doctor tears*
And what happened to his hair in the last scene? Ew!

also watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose.
This movie really scared me. I had to pause it and go get my rosary. Which I couldn't find, and I started to freak out.. I found one, but not my real rosary. I could only find one that I got in the mail from some charity that wanted money. But at that point, it served it's purpose and allowed me to finish watching the movie while holding it.
It scared me so much because of my personal beliefs in Satan and Hell and demons. It really unsettled me. But the end had me crying. This is one of those movies that got me real deep down - that kind of crying.
Another thing that bothered me was that even when Emily and the priest were inside of a church, the demon/demons still affected them. Aren't churches supposed to be hallowed grounf where demons and evil forces can't enter?
And weird how the demons on Supernatural don't bother me one bit, but the ones in this movie did.

It's Fleet Week in San Francisco and the Blue Angels always come and perform, and OMG! I can see them from my balcony and even sitting here from my bedroom window.

I'm chicken too, that's why I just got around to watching. And as to why I decided to watch it when I was alone (remember, roomie gone), I have no idea. Probably cuz I'm an idiot and like to see how much I can scare the crap out of myself for a thrill.
But watch it, cuz it really is an excellent movie.

whoa. dual 'conversations' going on today. we are too cool. gives us lots to do to keep the boredom at bay. =)

in bed with me. curled up right by my side. and now that's it's getting colder (i keep window open) she is going under the covers and curling by my side. she makes the cutest little ball of sleek, blackness and i love that she's right there. she's a good sleeper and i sear she does not move at all during the night.
