found out about that tonight at the vet's office, the doc gave me a flyer about it.
we lost one of our rats tonight. =( the last girl, flower. she and 2 of the boys have either lice or mites, so we had to take all six of the rats in to have them weighed (for dosing). it is rat lice (yay! not contagious to other species), but flower hasn't been eating and we've been worried about her, and knew that she wasn't long for world anyways, but it seems the stress of being taken there was too much, and she died right in front of us there. it was awful to watch.
