guess what happens when you take monday off?

all the shitiness just accumulates and hits you on a tuesday.

exhibit a: car pooling co-worker not calling to say she's staying home and i spend 10 minutes waiting for her.

exhibit b: getting to work and finding an email informing that there is mandatory overtime being imposed on us, so i have to work 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, wednsday, thrusday and friday. staying that late in the day will double my commute time home. oh yay!

exhibit c: having your heart set on a mcgriddle and an iced coffee from mcdonald's for lunch (which i have to take at 9:45 am) and not being able to get to either of the nearest real mcdonald's because of traffic, settle for the food court mcdonalds in the mall, only to find that it is CLOSED for renovations, and having to settle for a subway sandwich as it is the only place open in the food court and having no time left to go anywhere else.

exhibit d: breaking a nail.

exhibit e: knowing that i'm not having enough time to get nails done, due to aforementioned overtime and an avon meeting tonight.
