The Sat and Sunday immediately following the holiday is "Thanksgiving weekend" and "the weekend after Thanksgiving" is next weekend. To me. YMMV. OBVS.

"Thanksgiving" is a four-day weekend to me. "Thanksgiving Day" is the thursday. If you want someone to do something the Sat or Sunday that is part of Thanksgiving weekend, you say "Thanksgiving weekend" in my experience.
I wonder if it's an age thing? (everything lately seems to be an age thing to me)
