Can we stop with the wind and the rain and hail now please?
Instead of staying in like a sane person, I made plans to go shooting with my friend Jullie, who lives 45 minutes away from me, and omg what a drive it was. I was only about 10 minutes from her house, when it started to really, really come down, and then the lightning started in and then it started to hail so badly, I had to pull over and wait it out.
We never made it the shooting range, we would have had drive about 30 minutes out, so we stayed local and went and saw Sweeny Todd instead.

OMG! I loved this movie!!
Johnny was great in this and he looked so hot. I loved the music and the look of the film, it was dark and oh so lovely. And my darling Alan was such a perfect sleaze bucket in this that I was not upset at all when he got his shave. Man, he and Tim Spalling did a wonderful job at being dirt bags. And the pants that Sacha Baron Cohen wore! Wow, were they ever revealing. =) We had a good giggle over that.
If you haven't seen this movie yet, go see it!!!

And yes, shooting is really fun. I even took lessons for trap shooting. It's fun. Yesterday was going to be handgun shooting at an indoor range, but the weather was too bad to drive any further. I haven't fired a hand gun in ages. Think the last time was with my dad down in the desert in the 90's.
I won 2 shotguns, but no hand guns yet.
You should give it a try. Go to a local gun shop/firing range, and you can rent a hand gun to use. That's what I was going to do yesterday.
